What is turmeric?A richly colored powder ground from the root of the turmeric plant. It has been used in alternative medicines as a natural remedy for years. I personally use turmeric for my delicious chicken soup or should I say vitamin soup 🙂 I usually use one teaspoon of turmeric powder. Turmeric gives it a rich color and adds nice flavor to the soup. I also use it to give some flavor to white rice. I started to use turmeric to prevent inflammation and as I did some more reading about turmeric ,it turns out that there are many more benefits and I was amazed.
