How many times did we eat supposedly gluten free products but still ended up with the symptoms of digestive problems and all the nice symptoms that comes with ingesting gluten contaminated products.
In the beginning, I have struggled with choosing the right brands of products ,eating out was a mission and having some drinks with coworkers on a Friday night was another mission 🙂 There are also some products on the market labeled GF by the company of produce and still contaminated with gluten because of poor handling of products within the company.
It took me some time to find everything that I need but now I am set on what to buy on the market ,where to eat and still stay clear of gluten. Let me tell you it took many nights of searching the web, reading books, articles and of course some trial and error.I also found these pills during my search and they helped me during the times I was struggling. It is called Gluten Ease whenever I realized the food I had was contaminated with gluten even though it was supposed to be GF, these pills really helped me.
Today I want to write about gluten consumption and inflammation.
What is inflammation? Physical condition in which part of the body becomes reddened, swollen, hot, and often painful. Gluten can be the reason our immune system to attack the muscle and joints leading to chronic pain and inflammation. If we don’t follow our gluten free diet inflammation is the outcome .With this in mind our body will produce Cortisol as an anti-inflammatory hormone as a defense mechanism and this will cause our bellies to get fat.We all want to feel good ,move freely,be fit and inflammation will give us joint pain ,muscle aches and a nice big belly 🙂
I remember those days I had pains, aches and weight gain.I just wanted to be healthy move freely with no part of my body stopping me from being myself.I started to take Zyflamend from New Chapter and let me tell you ,this really helps to get rid of inflammation.
I just want to remind everybody to keep your diet clean and strictly GF,unfortunately there is no magic pill that can stop your symptoms.
Do we have enough vitamin D in our system? Well in my case I didn’t know I had vitamin d deficiency until a few years ago, when I was struggling with gluten allergy issues I went for a blood test and there it was.The underlying issue with gluten allergy and digestion is not only about having problems digesting the food we eat but also getting the vitamins and nutrients from the food we consume. If we don’t get good amount of sunlight, if you work in an office all day lets face it we don’t get enough. So what do we need to do, answer is simple more sunlight and of course supplements.
Some symptoms of vitamin D deficiency are weakened immune system, tiredness, general aches and pains, weakness, weight gain, anxiety, you may also have frequent infections. If you think you may have vitamin D deficiency talk to your physician and have a blood test to check your vitamin D levels. My recommendation on which supplement to take is Solgar or if you want you can just stop by any pharmacy and pick up the Sundown Naturals brand. I take 1000 IU once a day in the morning.
